Shop Sustainably with Our Green Initiatives
“You Buy, We Plant”: when you support our environmentally conscious brands you’re helping grow a tree

The most talked about and probably the most pressing issue of our times concerns the noticeable changes in the world’s climate, an evolving situation that demands immediate attention by everyone. At Bravo Savings Network we believe we all have a collective responsibility to address the effects of our actions on nature, which is why we have come up with a formula to give back to the environment with every sale.
Partnering with many ecologically sensitive brands and in collaboration with the Eden Reforestation Projects, we are helping rebalance the scales one tree at a time, but we need your help to achieve our goal. When you browse our deals at BravoVoucher you will find a green tree logo next to the brands participating in our green initiatives. Buy from them and you’ll be helping us in our efforts to make shopping sustainable!
If sustainability seems to be all everyone’s talking about right now, it’s because the only way we can preserve the quality of life of future generations is by offsetting the damage we are currently causing on the planet with our actions. We need to think in more all-embracing and long-term ways to make responsible decisions that meet our present needs, without putting at risk the ability of those who come after us to meet theirs.
That’s all sustainability really means, making the present unharmful for the future. Simple, right? Well, at least in theory. But the fact is that, while there are many aspects and large-scale considerations that are obviously out of our control, there’s still a lot, each of us can do, to make our daily habits compatible with the preservation of the environment.
At Bravo Savings Network we firmly believe in sustainability as a good choice not necessarily to change our goals but to achieve them in a more responsible way. That’s where the change of culture comes into play, not dashing our expectations but finding environmentally sound ways to achieve them.
Being mindful of nature isn’t a luxury, nor should it be something we do at the expense of our genuine ambitions. Otherwise, the future of green policies remains as variable as our mood, or our financial means to indulge in it. We all want things – and this is unlikely to change anytime soon. That’s why we have come up with a formula to make our shopping cravings a good thing for our ecosystem.
At BravoVoucher, sustainability and helping the environment are part of our core values. Spurred by the suggestions of our staff members, many of them millennials, and with the backing of the management team, Bravo Savings Network has progressively been introducing sustainability into our everyday activities. At first we focused on modest goals, such as encouraging the use of public transport (our office is within walking distance of the train station), separating waste and recycling materials, and adopting a no-plastic, no-paper-towels, no-printing policy.
The positive reception of these early moves encouraged us to go further, engaging our most important stakeholders in our efforts to push sustainability with our original green initiatives. Our first public effort to bring sustainability into our business model came in 2019, when we launched the Green Friday project, an initiative specifically designed to turn consumerist behaviour in the busiest time of the year into trees – more than 100,000 of them, to be precise!
Between Black Friday and Christmas Day 2019, the hottest period in the holiday shopping season, we launched a campaign pledging to plant one tree for every transaction completed, tracked and confirmed through our European network. Our website featured a special branding over the course of the initiative, while the 114 participating brands featured a special badge for extra visibility.
After searching carefully for a suitable partner to physically manage the planting of the trees we decided to join forces with Eden Reforestation Projects, a non-profit organisation that focuses on undoing the effects of deforestation by rebuilding natural landscapes.
We chose Eden Reforestation Projects not only because of their emphasis on planting, nursing and preserving trees in forest areas of underdeveloped countries but also because they support local impoverished populations by employing local workers in their farms in many locations around the world (Central America, Madagascar, Nepal, Indonesia, Mozambique, Kenya, just to name a few).
The response we witnessed from our users was both favourable and humbling. Putting the spotlight on a worthy cause, we were able to turn their enormous enthusiasm for shopping during the festive season into something positive for the environment, amply achieving our target of 100,000 trees. This was more than enough to make us understand that we had taken the right decision in making sustainability one of our core values.
The great success of our Green Friday project, together with our commitment to making Bravo Savings Network a carbon neutral enterprise, has confirmed our decision to continue promoting sustainability as one of our core values and to come up with new and creative ways of engaging our audience. With this in mind, we have come up with a new ongoing campaign dubbed “You Buy, We Plant”.
As you might be able to guess from the name, the initiative is an extension of our Green Friday project, except this time there is no time limit attached to it. Partnering with many eco-driven brands, we are again pledging to plant a tree every time you use one of our deals or discount codes. This way you can feel good about your spending, not only because you got exactly what you wanted at the best price but also because in doing so you are making a real difference to the environment.
Easy. All brands partnering with us in the “You Buy, We Plant” project are clearly identified by a green round logo with a tree inside. Whenever you see this logo you can be certain that your purchase will result in a tree being planted by the Eden Reforestation Projects.
There’s nothing we like more at Bravo Savings Network than a good online promotion. Except, in fact, for an equally good online promotion that has a positive impact on the environment to boot. We know you feel the same way both about savings and about the planet, so look out for the sustainability logo and reward our green partners with your support. After all, you’ll be saving loads and rewarding yourself in the process – a true win-win situation for all!
